The Late Mrs. A. H. Holder

The death occurred at Kuku, Ohau, this week, of Parewai, wife of Mr. Arthur Herbert Holder and daughter of Tumeke and Ani j Wehipeihana. She was a descendiant of Tukorehe, Unoke, .Roha, iKiato, Marua, Haku, Tarnakau, j Rangiwhakaripa, Whare, Hemi, I Wehipeihana, Tumeke and Wharewai. j. Mrs. Holder was held in high jesteem by all the residents of the ; district: She was always in vsry j good health and her sudden death jcame as a tragic shock to all who j knew her. She took an active part in various organisations. I She is survived by her husband, one son, Mr. Lennie Holder (Ohau) 1 and four daughters, Mrs. R. Wal- : don (Sydney) , Mrs. Martin (Ohau) , Miss P. Holder (Palmerston North) and Miss N. Holder (Wellington) . i Representatives to the tangi ; were from Ngatiporou, Taranaki, Ngatikahahunu, Rangitane and Ngitahu, between 300 and 400 attending. The service at the Maori meeting house was conducted by Rev. Paora Temuera, Otaki, and at the graveside by Rev. G. B. Stote'Blandy, Levin: The-' pallbearers were Messrs. H. Manawatu . (Masterton), Lennie Holder (Ohau), Boy Wehipeihana and N. Wehipeihana (Ohau) , M. Wehipeihana (Stratford) and W. Campbell (Paraparaumu) . Numerous messages of sympathy have been received by the bereaved husband and family.
