Punahau Football Club Elects Officers
j — ■ ■" — : The annual meeting of the Punahau Football Club was held recently,.:the chairman, Mr. J. C. Macdonald, presiding over a large attendanee of players and interest-e-d" persons. The chairman welcomed the visitors- and then asked Mr. R. Kingi to address the meeting". Mr, Kingi gave a wery interesting and iijstructiwp talky- referring t0 past members of the club. The election of officers was then ! held and resulted as follows:— IPatron: Mr. Ngarori Kingi; presiIdent: Mr. J. c. Macdonald; vicepr.esidenfs : Messrs. E. Henderson F Chamey, B, Lacey, C. Larsen, K Hunt, H. McMiUan, Q. D. Harris, K.. Be'll, E. Ward, J. Goodwin, T. Main, G. Cooper, R, Jacobs, A. Clark and W. Ward; joint treasurers: Messrs. J. 0. Macdonald and R. Rikihana; secretary: Mr. R. Rikihana; club captain : Mr. H, Kingi; coaches: Messrs. I. Mcponal'd and P. Graham; physical ■ instructor: 'Mr. Carpentier;- union selector: Mr. J. C. MeDonald. The balance sheet showed a credit of £13 12s 4d, although the club paid out some very heavy accoupts | during the vear.
