Feilding way. 1 Speedway fans turned out in large numbers on Saturday evening to visit Palmers- ■ ton North for jthe final meeting of fchis season, and places of amusement were well filled on Thursday, Saturday and Monday. . The Church of England dance held in the Parish Hall last evening was' welL patronised. Speciai Easter services were held in the local churches 'on Sunday morning and evening, and these were well attended. • * The majoriy of business people reported good trading for the week prior to Easter and al through -Shannon experienced a- quiet holiday season, -nevertheless, all enjoyed the few days' break.
