Croquet Competitions

Competitions held on the croquet greeh .during the season have drawn to a close. Lasl- week the Satrurday afternoon1 , 20-minut'e games for Mrs. 'Bovis' trophies were completed and resulted as folfows: —Senior: Mrs-. Bell; juhior: Mrs. G. Fitzgerald. The sealed han'dicap Yankee tournament was also completed last week and ' the disclosing of. the handicaps showe'd some inter.esting results. ' Mrs. M. Parr and Mrs. G". Fitzgerald secured the greatest number of wiris with three and ahalf each. On the count back of points, Mrs. Parr proved to be the winner and thus gains the Roach gold brooch for the year. Mesdames Bovis, Parr and Morrison tied with four wins each in the Blaikie silver brooch contest and a count back of points was necessary, making Mrs. Morrison the winner. The final for the Batt Cup resulted in a win for Mrs. M. Pajrr,
