The Government 's reply to the New Zealand Federation of Labour on the) carpenters ' dispute was received late" fhis afternoon and will be discussed at a nxeeting of the national exeeutive of the Federation tomorrow morning. No progress was made today on the Mangakino dispute over the transfer of tlxe local branch seeretary of the New Zealand Workers ; Union to another job. The national president of the union (Mr. W: L. Wallaee) reported to-' night that the management committee had completed a two-day xneeting and so far there was no new development.
