By a unanimous vote the Auckland Trades Couxxcil resolved at its xneeting toixight to urge ftffiliated nnions fo support tlie appeal from the New Zealand Workers, Union for liixancial assistance i'or the Mangakino members in aceordanee with the decision of the national exeeutive of the Federation of Labour. The Comnxunist president (Mr. A. Drennan) and the seeretary (Mr. W. Ashton) said Ihe nxeeting by an overvhelming majority strongly condemrxed as a disruptive action the publishing by Mr. J. Ereeman, vice-president of the New Zealand Timber Wox-kers ' Union, ot' axx apfieal to all unionists to oust the Commuxiists. Mt. Drennan "said a vote of censure was passed:
