Winning the toss and batting first 111 a two-dav cricket match against an Auckland women 's t$am on Saturday, the Australian women ;s team gave a bright exhibition in scoring 222 runs I'or seven wickets. The visitors deeiared tlieir innings closed at the afternoon lea adjournment and in the two hours | lel't for play, Auckland lost i'ourwickets for 60 runs. One of the outstanding features of the day's play was a iiue century by the Australian captaiu, M. Dive.
