In the ' absence of the president, Mrs. Koberstein, the chair was occupied by Mrs. Guy. j An invitation was received to attend the birthday of the - Levin Ins'titute in April. Misdames Chapman and Guy we-re appointed delegates to attend the annual 'meeting of theJ federation\ at Tawa iFlat. Mrs. Stratton entertainedmfembers with two vocal solos. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdaihes Sanson and Bird, The results of competitions were: — Hat worn by competitor: Mrs. A. Koberstein 1, Mrs. Guy 2, Mrs. {Chapman 3. Flowers: Mrs. Guy j (senior) and Deborah Guy (junlior) . Shrub : Mrs. Netten.
