Large Sheep Yardings At Levin Sale

Large yardings of store sheep were penned at the Levin sale yesterday. The market for store lambs remained buoyant while the first breeding ewes to appear- in the yards this season sold well at fair values ' for the quality of the yarding. Fat sheep showed a slight improvement on last week's rates. , In the pig seetion, a full yarding. -improved in values on recent saies. Fat cattle sold well but because of an over-supply, there was! a slight easing-off in the saies of, runners. More dairy stock than usual were penned, more interest being shown in this seetion than of \ late.
