Cull Lambs Bring Good Prices
■*. — : : A notable feature at the sale pf draft lambs off the hill country, conducted b'y Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., at their Shannon yards last week, was the high quality and total absence of sick or drowsy stock. From a small bench of buyers bidding was brisk. Good prices were realised and all lines were sold. Wether lambs: 142 on account of R. Barber, 24s; 87 on account H. Kilmister, 23s lld; 106 on account S. H. Roberts, 25s 3d; 100 on account Lester and Armstrong, 25s; 92 black face lambs on account G. Wilkinson 24s 6d. Culls : 45 on account .G. Wilkin- 1 son, 20s; 53 on account H. Kilmister, 17s 6d; 55 on account S. H. Roberts, 18s; 40 on account R. Barber, 18s 3d. Fat wethers on account H. Kilmister, sold at 33s each and 2-tooth wethers from -the same vendor at 31s each. ' Gull ewe lambs made 16s 3-d each and 48 2-tooth wether lambs 30s each. P.A. run cows and calves realiseijl £8 17s 6d eaeh and 2-year-old P.A. heifers £8 10s, each. Cows ex-dairy made from £5 to £8 15s and heifers to £9. Newly calved heifers sold at £9 10s.
