Levin Tennis Club's Games
The third round . of the ■ Levin ' Tennis Club's competition for the captain's trophy was played at the weekend, four players, Mrs. Greig, Miss Jackson,. R. Antqliff and D. Stan'dish, obtaining the possible 18 points. Other scores were: Miss Bell and C. Lagor 17, R. Desgrand •i6; Mrs. Greenaway, Misses Hocking, Hall and Kilsby, and M. Fox and R. Stantiall 15; Miss Marsh' and W. Leach 14; B. Atkinson 13; P. Hewitt 12; MisS Williams and H. Walker 11; Misses Chapman-Cohen, Cockrell and A. Fletcjaer, and P. Whitham 10; Mrs. Roskruge and Miss Green 8; P. Mercer 7; Miss N. Fletcher 6. Leaders for the trophy now are Miss Hall with 51 points, Mrs. Greenaway with ' 50 and R. Desgrand with 39. Next Saturday- there will be* an intermediate representative • ma^ch on the Levin eourts between Manawatu and Hutt Valley. Levin Club members who could assist with umpiring and tea duty are asked to hdvise Miss Chapman-Cohe'n or Mr. G. Sorenson. ; The following are. .the teams for the weekend inter-club matches':— .
