Messervy). it was found that this had been caused by Brolga getting on the hcels of another horse and cannoning into Bright Bide, which went back 011 to Lord Pilot. Aitken's explanation was accepted. An inquiry was hold into alleged interference by Teuor Roval with Bright Bide about 100 yards from the iinish. It was found that interference aetually did occur but that it was not sufficieut to cause the committee to alter the plaeings.
