PRACTICES NOW PERMITTED
The secretary of the Manawatu Marching Centre, Mr. A. L. Dobson, has reeeived the following reply to a letter to the Medical Officer of Health at Palmerston North, Dr. T. C. Lonie: "Regarding girls under 16 years taking part in marching practices, 'I have to a'dvise that there will be no objection to these girls attending the /practices of individual teaips, but it is to be clearly understood that girls under 16 may not take part in practices of group teams, nor may they participate in public displays." >
