He ploaded not guilty and was coiuinitted by two Justices of the Peace to the next sitting of the Bupr&me Court at Timaru for trial. There was 110 application for 'bail. Perrv pleaded guilty to three eliarges — tlie theft of a motor-car at Hamilton, -alued at £550, the property of, Eouise Winthrop; the theft of a car at Timaru, valueil at £690, the property of-James Meeham and Sons; and the theft of a set .of electric horse clippers, A-alued at £11 18s lOd, the property of sotne person unknown. On all three charges he was remanded to the iSupretne Court for sentence. ;
