Civic Theatre

THURSDAY & FRIDAY A brilliant cast of British stars, headed by Anton Walbrook in the leading role, will be seen in "The Man From Morocco," which opens at the Civic Theatre on Thursday and Friday. , The higgest production ever made at the Welwyn Studios; sixty elaborate sets were built to give an authentic background to the romantic and topical story that varies in scene from a 14th Century Spanish castle, to exciting incidents in the North African desert during the first years of the present war. Anton Walbrook has Margaretta Scott for leading lady, and they both give magnificent performances. Mary Morris, Reginald Tate, Peter Sinclair, David Horne and Hartley Power all give fine character studies in this topline British picture.
