POWER BOARD CHAIRMANSHIP
— » MR. T. G. VINCENT RE-ELECTED Mr. T. G. Vincbnt " was unanftnously re-eleoted chairman of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board .at the annual meeting of that body -yesterday. Before vacating the Chair, Mr. Vincent thanked all inembers for their co-operation and kindhess to him during the period in which he had held the chair. He sincerely thanked them for the attendance and' attention they had given to the board's work and consequently to the consumers in the district. Thanks were also due to the executive officers and the staff for their friendliness and contribution to the work during the year. The managing-seeretary, Mr. R. A. Frederikson, -then called for nominations for the position of chairman. , He- was pleased to be able 1 to nominate Mr. Vincent as chairman for the ensuring yeal*, said Mr. C. jS. Keedwell. Mr. Vincent had 1 given considerable time to the j business of the board, and he was isure that members had a great deal of confidence in his judgment. Seconding the motion, Mr. F. W. Vickerman paid a tribute to Mr. Vincent's work as a chairman during his term of office Mr. Fredlerikson then declared Mr. Vincent ! elected. | He took a great deal of interest lin board matters, said Mr. Vincent ! in thanking members for their 'action. Each and every member jwas, he felt sure, concerned with jthe furthering of the board, which in the end would further the interests of the consumers. !
