CRICKET IN WET WEATHER
ASSOCIATION'S DECISION The action some criGket teams took in playing in wet weather Was commented on at a recent meeting ! of the Horowhenua Cricket Association, by the president, Mr. G. C. France. After some discussion it was resolved that clubs in the district be notified that "the association looks with great displeasure on the attitude taken : by some .captains in continhing to piay ; when' 'the weather is most uhsatisfactory.i It requests that in futufe ^aptains will arrive at a suitable decision so' that no one game may be abandoned. Further, the asSociation has the power to delete any points' on any pariicular Saturday and have the matches replayed of cancelled." It was decided, however, that the points for last Saturday Would stand.
