SHOT FIRED AT KAI-SHEK'S CAR
Received Monday, 9.30 a.m. PEIPING, Nov. 30. An uncon-firmed Chinese Press report today said' that a . shot was fired at Generalissimo Chiang Kai Shek yesterday as he passed Peiping's West Gate in a car, en youte to the airport. A Chinese Air Force lieutenant was iinmediately arrested for allegedly firing the shot. It is not known whether the shot was an assassination attempt, or was fired in the excitement of Chiang's appearance.
