THREE KILLED IN TRAIN-CAR CRASH
JM.F 1,1301, Jt.Nlq iN ov. 30. Three people were killed and one seriously injured when an electric train collided with a car at a ievel erossing neav Ferntree Gully. The tmpaci smashed the car to matchwood and / dragged it 50 yards along tlie line. The dead coniprised two women and a man who .had. accepted a lift in the car a t'ew minutes before. The dfiver of the car, who was thrown clear, was adniitted to hospftal with fractured ribs and liead injurDs.
