DEATHS IN PERU 'QUAKE MAY STILL RISE
LIMA (Peru) b Nov. 4. Government offlcials fear that the deathroll from Saturday's earhquake in Central Peru will rise above the 53 now listed when road and telegraphic communications wiih the aamagsd area are restored. The earthquake struck the eastern slapes of the Andes particular4y hard, causing enormous landslides. The towns most damaged Uccording to present information are Salacabamba and Surchamba, ooth with a population of over 8000 and both near the epicentre in the jungle region. No word has come from them since Saturday.
