WELLINGTON,' Oct. 6. Furniture manufacturers have been. advised by the Price Tribunal that they" may incr-ease their pricns by 3 per cent. to oft'set tlie cost of the recent .wage increases. Radio manufacturers have been granted a 4 per cent. increase on the same grounds. , No decision is announced on retailers' markups and until this is done there can be no indication of the efl'ect on prices to the public.
