MISSING GIRL'S BODY FOUND

WELLINGTON, Oct. 5. A female body believed to be that of Marie West, aged 17-|, who vanished from her home in Mclntjnre Avenue, Wellington, on July 7, was found today in seruh near a track on Moimt Victoria. The poljce said tonight that the hody, which had "been dead for a long time, had not been positively identified. On one arm, however, was a wrist watch known to have belonged to the girl or her mother. A preliminary medical examination today did not reveal the cause of - death. The pathologist at the Wellington Hospital (Dr. T. O. Mercer) will make a further examination.
