NURSERY PLAY CENTRE

MEETING OF COMMITTEE The September committee meeti ing of the Levin Nursery Play Centre was held recently. Mrs. H. JB. Burdekin presided over a good ; attendance of members. Apologies were received from Mesdames H. S. Walkley, H. Black, G. Sharpe, S. J. I Thompson and L. Burnham, j The supervisors' report showed jan increase ra the number of chilj dren attending. They requested j that on arrival all parents br guardians personally place the I children in their care. The committee regretfully granted leave of absence to Mrs. C. S. Keedwell, who is leaving shortly on a visit to England. In appreciation of Mrs. Keedwell's service to the I centre it was decided to forward a food parcel to her on arrival in .England. Mesdames Burdekin and Corry offered to supply rusks for the children for the next month.
