INCREASE OF 4D IN PAYOUT
LEVIN DAIRY COMPANY'S DECISION In consequence of the increased **rices far butterfat announced by the Dairy Industry Commission, most dairy companies will be inpreasing their monthly advances to suppliers. The Levin Dairy Conipany is increasing its p.avment by 4d, taking the payout to ls lld per lb. of butterfat. This will be retrospective to August 1 and payment will be made on October 20. The company has also decided on an additional advance of 1.716d per lb. for all butterfat supplied between November 1, 1946, and July 31, 1947, but nayment of this bonus will not he made until a later date. . The Kuku-Manakau Dairy Comoany's deeision in regard to the matter will be made shortly, it was stated this morning.
