Received Thursday, 12.34 a.m. LOXDOX, Oct. 1. Rescuers recovered 170 dead and 58 seriouslv injuved, from the wweckage of an earthquake in the v'illage of Doaatlotabad, Persia, says the British TJnited Press correspondent in Telieran. Every house was destroyed. The people are staying in the lieldtf because the tremors are continuing. The earthquake caused severe damage in other villages where at least 20 are dead and 50 injured.
