HASTINGS, Oct. 1. Air flights as a means of curing or relieving whooping cough, are becomin*, popular in. Uawke's Bay, there naving been several instances in recent weeks where this method of treatment has heen followed. In one case at least marked improvement in the condition of the child concerned was noted. A medical practitioner interested in the treatment, said today that there was no guarantee of success but there did seenf to he a fifty-fifty chance of children benefiting from a flight in high altitudes. What the reason was for the henefit he did not know but experiments whieh were first carried out in Switzerland showed there was soonething in it.
