Canterbury A had a hard iussle in lieating Rangitikei and it was not until seoring their second goal in the last spell that Canterbury eliuched the uniteh. Although Wellington A beat Canterbury li by the only goal of the mateh, the ganie territorially was Wellington 's all through. Results: Wellington A 1, Canterbury B 0; Canterbury A 2, Eangitikei 0.
