Slow progress is being made With the four Stat'e house units on the corner of Ballance and Margaret Streetsand indications are that it will be a considerable time' before they will be ready to. rec'eive tenants although two units are well under way. Daily enquiries are being received for house' properties, grazing land and land suitable for market gardening. In the latter direction, it has the appearance at present that the whole of the Otaki area will be in garden within the next year or so as each season sees more of the farming land going under the plough and converted to gardening
