BIG HAUL IN POLICE RAID

On a chance visit to the police station early yesterday afternoon a "Times" reporter sa-w a stream of goods sufficient to stoclc a country' store being transferred from a heavily laden three-ton truek into the building. Included in the haul were radio sets, boots, shoes; slippers, gumboots, a number of new j tyres, car rims, ch'ests of tea, suiteases, a Post and Telegraph hamper marked "fragile", blankets, books, wire-netting, groeeries of all descriptions, sports coats, -bolts of material and a host oll other valuable items.
