SECOND CALL TO CEASE FIRE IN INDONESIA
Received Wednesday, 7.0 p.m. NEW YORK, August 2(i. The Security Council -todav, for tnc second time, called on tlie Dutch aua Indonesians to cease fire. The decision came after the Dutch Ambassador, ljr. van Kleffens, warned the Council 'that the cease flre order could not be observed if the Indonesian Republic continued " to incite Indonesians to murder the Dutch and Irarn dwellings. " The Council president, Mr. Faris ei Khouri (Bvria), ruled that todays action completed this stage of the Indonesian case but the matter was lef't on the agenda for further action if and when it appeared necessarv. The Indonesian Republic officially int'ormed Lnited Nations today that 11 accepted tlie Becurity Council 's decision ealling for consular reports on hostn ities since the Council 's call for cease fire on August 1. It also accepted tne Council 's olfer of good offices in tiuIndonesian dispute.
