WAR IN INDO-CHINA WILL CONTINUE
Received Thursday, 10.50 a.m. PARIS, Aug. 27. The Minister of Information, M. Pierre Bourdan, announced after a Cabinet meeting that the IndoChina war would continue until more favourable circumstances for negotiations arise. M. Bourdan said that M. Emile Bollaert, High Cornmissioner in Indo-China would shortly appeal to the better judgment of the guerrilla leaders. The French would treat with the leader who had the best chance of bringing peace.
