LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
The annual meeting of the League of Mothers was held recentiy. Mrs. C. Nichol was in the chair. A full report of the year's work was given by the secretary, Mrs. Mercer, who was accorded a vote of thanks for the work she had done as secretary and treasurer. Gratitude for the way in which all members had helped to make the year so successful was expressed by the president. The following cfficers were elected: — President: Mrs. C. Nichol; conimittee: Mesdames Blakeney, Kehoe, Burling, Lauric, Mercer, W. Mudgway, Murray and L. Smith. The thought foi" the month was given by Mrs. Nichol. Mrs. Smith entertained - with an elocutionary item and Mrs. Maher with a pianoforte solo. It was arranged to have a floral display at the next meeting.
