An unofiiciai estimate of the Indonesian civilian casualties during "police aetion" between July 21 and August 4 in Java are given as 10,000 kiiled, wounded and missing, according to reports from Jogjakarata -oaay. The army iosses were estimated at 1600, including prisoners. No figures were avrilable for Sumatra.
