CARGO BY AIR ACROSS COOK STRAIT
WELLINGTON, July 33 Air freight history was made in New Zealand today when the Bristol aero plane Merchant Yenturer completed 12 trips aeross Oook Btrait and carried 48,0001bs of cargo between 7.5 a.m. and 3.40 p.m. The flying time added up 1 1, six hours for six returu crossingy between Paraparaumu and Woodbourut and the average time to turn the air ■■".raft round, to load and unload it, wa? 10 minutes.
