BANKRUPT POULTRY BOARD
WELLINGTON, July 31. After being involved for the last two years in expenditure in excess of its income, the New Zealand Poultry Board was bankrupt, said the Wellington dis triet representative on the board, Mr. J. N. Little, at a meeting of the Hutt Valley. Pouitrykeepers ' Association Mr. Little said the board had deeided at its last meeting, to go into reces? until November to effect a saving of money. A special committee of three. was set up to handle the urgent busi ness of the egg industry until then The Poultry Board cgnsists of a repre sentative of the producers from each of the Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Otago districts and two Govern ment nominees. It has control over'al' .; matters relating to the industry.
