OBITUARY

MRS. RAHAPA AOMARERE Mrs. Rahapa Aomarere, who had lived in O.aki for the. past fifty years, passed away at her r.esidence, Iti Street, on Wednesday morning at the age of 69 years. The deceased, who was very' popular with both natives and pakehas, was an enthusiastic .horticulturist, and her garden was a credit ao her. Mrs. Aomarere was born at the Wairau Pah, South . Island, and with her husband came to Otaki, where the latter died some 25 years ago. The deceased ha'd enjoyed good health till recently, but about ■ a mon h ago became indisposed. Members of the family left to mourn their loss are Mrs. - Kopa (Kura), of the Waikato, Mrs. W. Roper (Rachael), of Upper Hutt, Jack, of Paraparaumu and GeorgLna of Otaki.
