Messrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd fruit and pouLry merchants, Wellington, report that tree tomatoes have been in much better enquiry. The small supplies of Chinese gooseberries that have ccme to hand have also sold readily, while passionfruit and all citrus have oeen placed to advantage. Flower saies now command keener attention, popular varieties being poppies, violets and all spring bulbs.
