Received Thursdav, 7 p.m. LOXDOX, July 24. Two young men who displayed a banner liearing the inscription, "Eng lish rule means Scottish ruin", when the Roval family arrived at GlasgOv\ main station, were each fined £3 for a breach of the peaee. The police stated the two men hoisted the banner ovei the heads of a large crovvd awaiting for the arrival of the Royal party. Many in the crowd became hostile and enjoined the police to use batons upon the demonstrators. The Chief Sheriff described the acti,on as- "a piece oi fatuous propagandd '
