SHRINE CANDELABRA

Received Thursdav, 7 p.m. LONDON, July 24. It is now disclosed that tlie two magnificent bronze candelabra which stand near the shrine of the unknown warrior in Westminster Abbev, wer. anonymously given by Lord Lee o; Farnham whose death recent ly oe eurred. Lord Lee stipulated that thf gift was to remain anonymous unti after his death. Both were the work of Benno Elkan, the famous German scul-pior, who caine to Eiiglatul in 1926 Each stands six feet high and is in thc shape of a tree, one liearing 32 Oio Testament characters and the otlier 2l froin the New Testament.
