WELLINGTON, July 24. Seventy thousand former soldiers been issued with final - dis--harge certificafees by Base Records. The work of preparing and post-ing certificates is still proceeding steadily and is occupying a considerable number of Base Records staff. T'he final discharge certificate is a small linen-backed document, giving the soldier's regimental number. full namq and rank on aischarge, and setting forth his otdl military service, . inciuding home and overseas service. It is expected that six to nine months' work is yet to be done before all final discharge certifisates are issued.
