SHANNON REST ROOM

DEPUTATION TO PLUNKET SOCIETY At the monthly meeting of the Shannon sub-branch of the Plunket Society, held last week, Mrs. E. L. Hyde attended as representative of the Shannon Rest Room Committee, and asked that the committee of the Plunket Society consider a proposal that the projected ladies' rest room and conveniences be built in conjunction with the existing Plunket rooms. A discussion ensued, concludrng with the resolution that the eommittee meet its advisory board, which consists of the Mayor (Mr. R. E. Downes) , Dr. J. M. Wilson, Mr. R. R. Lind and Mr. F. Edmonds and discuss the matter with them.
