RECIPE FOR CHURCH UNION
Beceived Tuesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, July 15. The improbability of immediate churcli unity in Britain was expressed by the Archbishop of York, Dr. Cyril F. Garbett, when speaking at a Christian unity meeting at Neweastle on Tvne. Uniformity in worship eannot be expected, he said, but he was hopeful that the reformed churehes would draw closer together as the years go on. "If tliere is to be a close Christian union, " he added, "we must agree on essentials and be prepared to differ on non-essen-tials. "
