LETTER TO THE EDITOR

« USE OF CENTENNIAL PARK Sir, — I notice in the report of the Otaki Borough Council's meeting that while Otaki has two camp sites, two play areas, etc., that the sole use of our Centennial Park has been let. Many children at the Railway, a factory with over 50 hands and I would prefer to see these young people have some fun in the park their parents bought for them, and which is urgently needed for their recreation. A busy street is no place for a play area. When- will the council wake up and -do its duty to the future ratepayers. Yours etc., "RATEPAYER." Otaki, July 15.
