REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL GAMES On Saturday morning last at IJie Otaki Domain trial matches were held to enable +hn opIpoW r,o choose his team for the southern I-Iorowhneua primary schools. This team played the northern Horowhenua representatives at Levin today for the selectors, Messrs. C. E. Wiseley and J. Hewitson, will select the Horowhenua team to go in training for the quadrangular tournament, to be held during the £ugust holidays. The following were chosen to represent the southern team- D. Thomson, C. Sweetman, M. Mowbray (Paraparaumu). D. Fairlie (Waikanae) ; S. Snowdon, D. 7)ustin, ■ M. Taipua, L. Fox, B. Jensen (Otaki) ; H. Nicholson, D. Grey, B. Bregman, J. Eru (Manakau) ; R. Ellen (Te Horo) ; P. Enoka, J. vVinterburn and B. Hosiaux (Otaki Convent) . A good match was played at Waikanae on Friday between the scholars of Otaki and Waikanae S ate Schools, when the former won by a try, scored by T. Davies, to nil. Mr. J. Hewitson was the referee.
