REMEMBERING "THE FEW"

Received Friday, 1.8 a.m. LONDON, July 10. Many relatives of the men -who died in the Battle of Britain, watched his Majesty unveil the memorial in Westminster Abhey to "the few". The Queen and Princesses accompanied his Majesty to the ceremony. The Archbishop of Canterhury, Dr. Tisher, in a sermon of dedication, said for three months England afcd the world himg upon the actions of those young men. It seemed then, as it seemed now, that they alone stood between the people and the abyss. Addressing the relatives Dr. Fisher said: "Not less than the others, though with deeper emotion, you join in proud thanksgiving and grateful recollection with which this chapel is to be set apart for all" time to make remembrance before God of the immortal act in which these young men purchased, with their lives, this England and so much besides."
