THREE N.Z. PRIESTS GOING TO ROME

WELLINGTON, July 11. The' well-known Marist priests are leaving Wellington tomorrow by the Ruahine en route to Rome, where they are represeniing the Society of Mary in New Zealand at the generdl chapter in September. They are Father T. Heffernan, provincial of ihe society in New Zealand, Dr. V. Geaney, ex-provincial, rnd Father J. Dowling, rector of St. Bede's College, Christchurch. They are expected to be away fi.ve months. During Father Heffernan's absence Father T. Cleary, vicerector of Sf. .Patrick's College, Wellington, will act as provincial.
