Talking changed hands for £19,000, Heroic for 16,000 guineas and Valais (Imp.) for 14,000 guineas. . fLi Ajax is fourth oir ihe list of Australia's greatest stake winners, having won £40,275. He has st&rted 46 times for 36 wins, seven seconds and two thirds. Now a twelve year-old, Ajax has sired many winners ineluding Magnificent, a dual Derby winner, and the outstanding sprinter Chaperone. Magnificent, also told today for 6000 guineas to the St. Aubin's stud.
