STORMS TAKE TOLL OF LIVES

Cut.ting across the Upper Eed Itiver Vailey in Minnesota and Nortli Dakota, a tornado killed. nine persons and injured 44, fourteen of whom are in hospital. Only the Catholic Chureh and the Town Hall were' left standing in Warsaw, North Dakota, which has a population of 100, Seven sugarbeet workers were killed at Auburn, North Dakota, when a storm hit a farmhouse in which several families were living. The bodies of the farmer and his wife were found 100 yards from the farmhouse in which they lived. Near Osolo, Minnesota, wind on the edge of a storm knocked down and killed a man aged 72 years.
