CORRESPONDENCE SCHOOL'S SILVER JUBILEE
WELLINGTON, July 1. A unique gathering was held tonight when former pupils of the correspondence School attended their first reunion dinner. The event was part of the school 's silver jubilee celebrations which will continue throughout the >veek. Many of the diners were contemporary pupils who met for the first time in company with several hundred present pupils. They have come from all parts of New Zealand, some even from lighthouses, to share the wonders of the c'apital city. The dinner was attended by the headmaster of the Correspondence School, Dr. A. G. Buteheis and Mrs Butchers, who were afterwaras given a presentatxon. The toast to the school was proposed by one .of its xoundation pupils, Mr. T. McNeice, of Hastings _ __ _ _ ;
