FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR. J. M. AIM
The funeral of the late Mr. James McGill Aim took place at Levin on Sunday afternoon. There was a widely representative attendance, including a large number from Shannon, where Mr. Aim had resided for 30 years prior to retirIng in Levin. • After a short service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church the cortege left for the Levin Cernetery, Rev. A. Salmond officiating at the graveside. The pall-bearers were Messrs. C. H. Speirs, J. Alexander, B. Gordon, C. Wishart, T. G. Vincent and C. Richards. The beautiful floral tributes bore testimony to . he high esteem in which the deceased gentleman was held by the community. They included emblems from the Levin and Shannon Co-operative Dairy Companies, Levin Bowlih^ Club, N.Z. Secondary Schools Association, Levin School, Levin Women's Institute and Levin Music .Club.
